Cristina Niculescu joined the faculty of Lewis & Clark College in 2016. She received her Spanish Language and Literature Master’s degree from Portland State University and has taught at PSU, Portland Community College and Clark College for past 7 years. Originally from Romania, Cristina has traveled the world extensively and lived in Spain and Mexico. She is currently researching and documenting Mexican textile and artisanal traditions and working with indigenous artisans in Oaxaca, Puebla, Michoacán and Chiapas.
