Tara was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California.
She attended Chapman University for her undergraduate degree and studied Art History. Upon graduation in 2007, she accepted a position at Chapman as a resident director. In 2009, she packed her bags and moved to Corvallis, Oregon, to pursue her Masters of Education in college student services administration at Oregon State University. While at OSU, she continued to work as a resident director and had internships in multiple offices across campus including New Student Programs and Family Outreach and the Center for Leadership Development.
In 2011, Tara started working at Lewis & Clark College in the Annual Giving office and managed the phonathon program and student philanthropy engagement. Tara loved working with the students of L&C and looks forward to working with alumni in her new role.
Tara lives in NE Portland with her husband and pug, Frankenstein. She loves cooking, trying new restaurants, being outdoors, and traveling. Tara also volunteers with a local Girl Scout troop and her Greek organization.
