Dr. Bostian joined the Economics Department at Lewis & Clark in 2011. She completed her PhD in economics at Oregon State University in 2010 with fields of specialization in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics and Econometrics.

Her research interests include productivity analysis, agri-environmental policy, energy and carbon policy, water resources and integrated modeling.

Dr. Bostian is an Associate Editor for The Journal of Productivity Analysis and The Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.  She has received two Fulbright Scholar Awards (Sweden, 2018-2019; Finland, 2014-2015).  She holds a visiting researcher appointment to  Umeä University Centre for Environmental and Resource Economics (CERE) (SE). She has also travelled as a visiting researcher to University of Sydney (AU), VATT Institute for Economic Research (FI), University of Queensland (AU), and INRA UMR SMART (FR).
