Bio

My name is Devon Streich. I am a German Studies major at Lewis & Clark, class of 2016. Since coming to L&C my experience has been shaped by a guiding question: what is true? This endeavor began with academics, and has led me through several philosophy and religion courses. More recently this question has become less intellectual and more experiential, and has now led to a deeply personal form of spirituality, which I pursue alongside my studies in academic German. Over my time at L&C I have SAAB tutored in both German and Philosophy, and have translated materials for the German department. In 2014-2015 I was abroad in Munich, and for Fall of 2016 I have applied for Fulbright grants to teach English in Germany and Austria.
