Hugo Moreno received his PhD in Hispanic Studies from Cornell University in 2001. His teaching experience covers all levels of language instruction and Latin American Literature, as well as literary theory and Western humanities. His area of scholarly research is the poetry-philosophy border in the Hispanic world, particularly (but not exclusively) the 20th Century. He has published and edited various articles on this topic, and is currently revising a book manuscript titled “Hispanic Literary Philosophy: Borges, Zambrano, Paz.”
