Visiting Assistant Professor of English
Megan Pugh teaches courses on American literature and cultural history, as well as poetry writing. She’s currently at work on two projects: a book about American dance, forthcoming from Yale University Press, and a series of poems about baseball, written in collaboration with Gillian Osborne. Megan has published criticism in The Believer, Boston Review, Pleiades, and The Point; her poems have appeared in Common-place, Denver Quarterly, Handsome, La Petite Zine, The Oxford American, VOLT, and other journals. Megan received her Ph.D. in English from U.C. Berkeley and a B.A. in American Studies from Yale. She grew up in Memphis.
