Mr. Beau Barnes
Beau currently works as a law clerk to a U.S. District Court Judge in Boston, Massachusetts. In October of 2014, he will begin a position as an Associate in the litigation department of an international law firm in Washington, DC.
After graduating from Lewis & Clark College in 2006, he worked for an unsuccessful congressional campaign, in the German parliament, and in political fundraising. He then completed a four-year joint-degree JD/MALD program at Boston University Law School and the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, where he focused his studies on national security law and policy, international law, and litigation, with a particular emphasis on the legal aspects of domestic and international counterterrorism. He grew up on the West Coast, spent several years living abroad, and has now become (partially) accustomed to life on the East Coast.
