Interview with Dith Pamp:
What is your name and graduation year?
Meredith Pamp (’11)
What will be your job on ASLC next year?
I will be the ASLC president.
What inspired you to run for president?
I have been involved with student government for the last three year and after seeing what predecessor presidents have done, I decided I wanted to be like them.
What mythological god are you the reincarnation of?
Can I be Zeus because I believe he birthed children from his legs and his brain.
What fascist figurehead do you think will exemplify your future presidency?
I’m going with the Tea Baggers belief and go with Obama. God damn socialist.
If you could choose, in which way would you be assassinated?
I’d be assassinated doing something really awesome. And they’d just shoot me in the back of the head so I wouldn’t have to see them.
Presidents in the past have offered a lot of promises and positions. With that in mind, how much do you plan to charge for hugs and other forms of physical contact?
Well hugs are never free. I think the side-ways hug would be 25 cents and a full on “you’re crying and you need me” would probably be five bucks. The awkward pat on the back, the “awkward man hug” would probably be a buck.
If you were allowed to break one law for an entire day, what would it be?
I’d probably break all traffic laws. All of them. None that would actually kill anyone, but I wouldn’t stop at traffic lights or stop signs. They drive me crazy as it is.
Interview with Gabe Montes de Oca:
What is your name and graduation year?
Gabe Montes de Oca (’11)
What will be your job on ASLC next year?
I will be the treasurer of cabinet. I will be working with student groups to help them get their refunds, help them orchestrate their budgets and make sure they get the funding they need through finance committee.
What inspired you to run for Treasurer?
I am currently on senate and as a part of working on senate I was assigned to boards and I’m on the finance committee. Through my work at the finance committee I was inspired to help student groups with their budgets and continue my work on finance committee.
What do you treasure most in this world?
I guess life over all. Getting to live.
Considering the world of Disney at large, whom would you screw, marry and kill?
Well Aladdin is pretty fine. I’m going to go with Mother Nature from Fantasia 2000 for marriage. And Scar.
What’s your biggest little secret that you wouldn’t want to be printed in the paper?
I like kombucha.
How often do you take a money bath?
I try like once a year or so. It’s more of a money shower; it saves money water.
Do you think of yourself more like an AIG executive or an old school Enron executive? And why?
I’m all for transparency, so by no means would I put myself in the Enron category. So I’d be AIG. I just want people to know what I do and understand what I do.
For better and worse?
Absolutely.
