Renee Allums-D’Espyne ’18, a Rhetoric and Media Studies major and Ethnic Studies minor, recently published her reflections on “Discovering the Meaning of Home in Tanzania” on On She Goes, a digital travel platform, published by Widen + Kennedy. On She Goes strives to help women of color “travel more confidently, more adventurously, and more often.”

In her post, Allums-D’Espyne who recently completed the East Africa study abroad program, writes, “In East Africa, I finally realized that home isn’t a place or ideas; home is the skin I am in.” Read the full entry here.
