Chemistry students attend national meeting

American Chemical Society

Four Lewis & Clark College students attended the 253rd National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) in San Francisco from April 2-6, 2017.  Each presented a poster on their undergraduate research work, collectively spanning from the summer of 2015 to current thesis research. The meeting presented the opportunity for chemistry majors to showcase their work to an international audience of ~15,000 academic and industrial chemists. Several Lewis & Clark chemistry alumni were in attendance, and there was a brief reunion for breakfast on Monday morning. The students’ travel was supported by funds from the ACS, SAAB, the National Science Foundation, and the College.
