Nominations for Annual Impact Awards due Mar. 17

The Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Education is seeking nominations for our annual Impact Awards.

The awards will be presented at the 2017 IME Banquet: “Staying Woke Requires Rest,” on Wednesday, April 5. Nominations are due Friday, March 17.

If you know someone—or several people!—who you feel deserves any of these three following awards, please fill out this short nomination form.

The Impact Awards include:

The Ray Warren Leadership Award is presented to students who possess a spirit of determination, care, open-mindedness, and optimism. They have demonstrated leadership on campus and a commitment to diversity and multicultural education.

The Kristi Williams Staff & Faculty Impact Award is for any staff or faculty member who demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion by supporting underrepresented students and creating a positive change on campus.

The Emerging Leader Award is presented to first-year students who have demonstrated leadership, commitment to the L&C community, and the potential for even further positive impact on campus.
