One Semester Down, One to Go!

The Pio seniors showed their talent at the Mahaffey Memorial Tournament at Linfield College. ALL of the seniors on the team advanced to elimination rounds. In debate, seniors Hannah Tierney and Ben Tyson were octofinalists in open debate, while seniors Ramya Ramesh, Neil Tyson, and Courtney Burum all made quarterfinals. In individual events, Dorothy Anne Mix took second in Poetry and fourth in Prose.

The squad is on hiatus for finals and the winter break. Before the spring term, however, the Pios will be back in action at a pair of tournaments at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
