Myah Moore ‘03

Although far from her Hawaii home, Myah found the global mission and vibrant faculty to be ideal on the campus of Lewis & Clark College. Once she set foot at L&C she was quickly taught that every student can make an impact in their communities, which she continues to do as an alumna through her consistent support of the College.

Although far from her Hawaii home, Myah found the global mission and vibrant faculty to be ideal on the campus of Lewis & Clark College. Once she set foot at L&C she was quickly taught that every student can make an impact in their communities, which she continues to do as an alumna through her consistent support of the College.

Myah remains an active member of the College by serving on the Board of Alumni and giving back financially. As a board member, donor, and volunteer, she focuses her crucial and influential support on the Annual Fund and the Ray Warren Scholarship Fund.

To Myah, the Annual Fund means that the basic needs of the College and students can be met. And, the Ray Warren Scholarship Fund embodies the tight-knit community that first attracted her to L&C. Myah recalls meeting Ray Warren with her mother and grandmother in Hawaii. She remembered, “we were so touched by his enthusiasm and glowing remarks. Ray Warren was a walking ambassador for a family that I wanted to be a part of.”

She gives back to L&C because of that lasting connection and to recognize her learning experiences. “When you attend L&C you become a life-long member of a very vibrant family and we would never want our future generations to [forget that],” says Myah. “The future of L&C resides upon our giving back.”
