Facilities hires two key positions

Facilities Services

Facilities Services is pleased to announce two strong additions to our team, Gina Franzosa will fill the position of Director of Project Management, and Clark Ide will take the helm in the new position of Building Maintenance Manager.

Gina comes to Lewis & Clark with a strong background in green building construction, program development, and business administration. Her experience in high efficiency construction at Green Hammer, Terrafirma Building, and JDM Associates, will assist the institution in advancing our building goals. Gina also served as the Oregon State Director for the Cascadia Regional Green Building Council where she organized stakeholders to advance sustainable building across the state.  Prior to diving into green building, Gina worked as an engineer at Otak, helping to integrate ecological engineering practices into the firm’s projects.  Gina studied civil engineering and urban planning at Cornell University and holds an MBA from Portland State University.  Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, she enjoys all the yoga, music, and outdoor fun that Oregon has to offer, but loves the pizza found in the town where she grew up.

Clark comes to LC from Virginia where he managed permit and subdivision work for the State Department of Transportation. Prior to this position, he worked with the City of Salem and CrossRoad Engineers where he developed and managed a variety of construction projects. Throughout his career Clark has been responsible for liaising with project stakeholders, contractor coordination, and managing field personnel. His collaborative, straightforward approach to projects and teams will be a great asset to our department and the institution. Clark studied civil engineering at Trine University and is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in Oregon and Virginia.  In his free time, he likes to cycle, play soccer, hike, and cheer on Pioneer athletics.

Clark and Gina will begin in their new positions on October 27th.
