Alumni Enjoy Friends, Food, and Fun

Alumni Weekend 2014

Alumni Weekend 2014

In June, more than 1,000 alumni, friends, and family headed back to campus for Alumni Weekend, a whirlwind set of events featuring class reunions, a traditional salmon bake in the estate gardens (a new location this year!), a fun-filled carnival, and more.

Besides reconnecting with former roommates and classmates, alumni relived their housing experience in style in Holmes Hall, toured alumni wineries, heard from classmates and faculty during Alumni College, and caught late-night live music and fire arts performances around campus.

The Albany Society, the college’s honorary group for alumni who graduated more than 50 years ago, inducted more than 30 new members from the class of 1964. On the last day of the weekend, over 200 people gathered to celebrate Michael Ford’s 38 years of service to Lewis & Clark.

In a strong show of support for the college, alumni gave $216,446 in reunion gifts. The class of 1979 won the award for the largest gift with $50,334, and the class of 2004 won the participation award with a 36 percent increase over the previous year.
