The Department of Art is pleased to congratulate Nick Grasso (’14) for receiving two significant awards:  the LeRoy Neiman Foundation Fellowship at Ox-Bow followed by an Intern Artist Residency at Franconia Sculpture Park.

The Department of Art is pleased to congratulate Nick Grasso (’14) for receiving two significant awards:  the LeRoy Neiman Foundation Fellowship at Ox-Bow followed by an Intern Artist Residency at Franconia Sculpture Park.  Each summer, Ox-Bow welcomes twelve fellowship students from competitive art schools and departments across the nation.  We are proud to announce that Nick Grasso has been selected to be one of the participating students.  The Intern Artist Program at Franconia is an opportunity for students and emerging artists to gain professional experience and build their emerging careers while working in a vibrant sculpture park and artist residency.  Grasso is majoring in philosophy with a minor in sculpture and will be graduating in May 2014.  His senior capstone exhibit, I AIN’T NO FREAKIN’ MONUMENT TO JUSTICE! I LOST MY HAND! I LOST MY BRIDE! was on view this past February in Arnold Gallery.  We look forward to what’s to come!
