Are you looking for a meaningful spring break experience? Check out SLS’ Alternative Spring Break (ASB) trips to Atlanta & Yakama.

 

Here’s the link to the participant application, which is due Wednesday, November 8th.
 

Yakama Nation - Environmental Justice & Tribal Sovereignty - Meet with activists and organizations doing important work to address environmental racism affecting Native Americans and farmworkers in and around the Yakama Nation and Toppenish, WA area.

 

Atlanta, GA - Racial Justice Then & Now - Meet with Civil Rights-era veterans, explore historic sites and learn from contemporary advocates of freedom and justice.

 

Student Leadership and Service’s (SLS) unique Alternative Spring Break program utilizes a critical service-learning model built on a foundation of mutually-beneficial community-campus partnerships that interrogate social injustice and pursue positive social change.
