Travel Stories from Within the History Department
October 02, 2013
Last semester, two history majors, Daniela Jimenez and Musa Ahmed, conducted interviews with Lewis & Clark History Department faculty regarding their experiences traveling in search of research materials. The goal was to understand the kinds of obstacles an historian might face while plying a foreign archive, or while getting their foot in the door to an area of interest.
This video shows these interviews with some of the faculty members who speak candidly (and graciously) about their personal experiences: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjsa-yaaqAo
