Summer Sessions Offers PSY 100 Taught by Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell
This summer, take the popular course, PSY 100 – Introduction to Psychology with Associate Professor Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell, recipient of the 2008 U.S. Professor of the Year award.
Course Content: Principles underlying behavioral development and change, physiological processes that mediate psychological functioning, processes of human perception and cognition, approaches to understanding functional and dysfunctional personality characteristics of individuals, counseling and psychotherapy techniques, application of psychological principles to social phenomena.
Prerequisite: None; Semester Credits: 4; Meeting Times: MTWTh 1:20-3:20 p.m.
The psychology department is also offering two more courses required for all Psychology Majors: PSY 200 – Statistics I, taught by Brian Detweiler-Bedell PSY 300 – Psychology Methodology, taught by Erik Nilsen All three courses will be offered during Summer Session I (May 20-June 28), and may be taken simultaneously.
