100 Projects for Peace

Davis 100 Projects for Peace is an initiative for all students at the Davis United World College Scholars Program partner schools, including Lewis & Clark College, to design their own grassroots projects for peace that they themselves will implement around  the world.

In the its eleventh year, the Projects for Peace program is an invitation to undergraduates at the American colleges and universities in the Davis United World College Scholars Program to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer of 2017. The projects judged to be the most promising and feasible will be funded at $10,000 each. The objective is to encourage and support today’s motivated youth to create and try out their own ideas for building peace.

Lewis & Clark students with queries about the proposal process may direct them to Associate Dean Brian White of the Office of International Students and Scholars as communication between students writing proposals and the Davis UWC Scholars office is prohibited. Proposals must be submitted by 4 pm on Monday, November 13, 2017.
