Home Away From Home

Enjoy the benefits of living on campus.

With residence halls large and small, Lewis & Clark provides an array of housing options, including themed communities focused on visual and performing arts, multiculturalism, outdoor pursuits, environmental action and service, and wellness. Students can also choose between single-sex and coed housing.

Students are required to live on campus for their first two years. Because of the convenience and the rich sense of community, though, many choose to remain in campus housing beyond their sophomore year.

Edna Holmes Hall, our newest residence hall, opened its doors for the first time this August. Designed with upper-division students in mind, it features large rooms and a high percentage of singles, as well as a game room, community kitchen, and spacious lounge complete with family-style dining table looking out on a paved courtyard with a wood-burning fireplace. Built in accordance with Lewis & Clark’s commitment to responsible stewardship of resources and sustainable practices, Holmes Hall is also on track to receive a LEED Gold rating.
