July 05, 2012
ALAMBIQUE
Alambique is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to scholarly research and criticism in the fields of science fiction and fantasy originally composed in Spanish or Portuguese. Alambique was conceived in 2011 at the 32nd International Conference for the Fantastic in the Arts by scholars and authors in conjunction with the University of South Florida Tampa Library, and is published annually through the USF Scholar Commons project. The journal is co-edited by Juan Carlos Toledano Redondo (Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies at Lewis & Clark College) and Miguel Ángel Fernández Delgado (El Colegio de México). Alambique is the first journal of its kind in the United States.
