Winterim Workshop 2012 Slideshow

Winterim Workshop, Understanding Innovation: Entrepreneurship and the Liberal Arts slideshow.

Last January, Lewis & Clark kicked off the very first Winterim Workshop, Understanding Innovation: Entrepreneurship and the Liberal Arts.  Twenty students returned from winter break one week early for an intensive, 5-day workshop on entrepreneurship.

Lead by Christopher Stevens, Assistant Professor at Gonzaga University, the workshop was designed to introduce students to an entrepreneurial mindset through hands-on activities and exercises.  As you can see from the slide show, this included oral presentations, visits from guest speakers, and a Winterim Networking Reception where students were given the opportunity to network with Portland business leaders.

The week concluded with a certificate ceremony where students were awarded a Certificate of Completion for their participation.
