A plea for help!
Do you have CDs, tapes, reel to reels, or Edison cylinders of “back in the day” KLC carts, station IDs, radio broadcasts, et cetera?
Through the miracle of technology we’d like to create a compilation of KLC related audio as a takeaway gift at the KLC/Kaplan dinner and for inclusion in the College’s archives.
So dig that tape of the Modern Lovers parody out of storage, find the CD you made of your last-ever show and mail it to the address below! Additionally, or in lieu of, pick three songs that represent “KLC” for you and burn them on a disc and send it in!
If you’re feeling super creative, and your therapist says it’s okay to “go there,” make a brief (30-60 second) video that relates a beloved memory of your time at the station and how you’re amazed Stuart put up with us for all those years and send that in (DVD-Rs please). We just might get enough to run a reel at the dinner.
Send your on-air audio, a CD with 3 tracks that represent “KLC” to you, and/or a video to:
0615 SW Palatine Hill Road, MSC 77
Portland, OR 97219
Please get it in the mail no later than September 10!
