A Workshop for Beginners

presented by Colin Ehr ’14

Does Microsoft Word’s auto-formatting make you want to pull your hair out?  Do you long for an easy and beautiful way to insert tables, graphs, and equations into your documents? Then come to this workshop to learn how to use LaTeX!  LaTeX is a free scripting language that can do all of this, and so much more.  LaTeX can have a steep learning curve and seem confusing at first;  this workshop will provide you with essential beginning skills and templates so that you can begin to use LaTeX right away.  You will never go back to Microsoft Word.

Note that there will be a follow-up workshop on Monday, April 21, to learn more advanced skills and functionalities of LaTeX.
