Arts De Vivre - French Play 2/21/2017
Date: 7:30pm PDT March 21 Location: Agnes Flanagan Chapel
Agnes Flanagan Chapel
Arts De Vivre
Summary of the play:
What do Phédre, Karl Paulin, a dogon statue, “Les Inrock” and a white painting have in common?
Art - Why art? What brings all these people together? In theaters, in museums, or on couches? To visit, perhaps, but to visit who? Visit what? And where is are in all this?
Art is scandal, surprise and eternity, and in the word “museum” we have a taste of “amusement” and “muse”.
In 6 scenes, the French section presents a colorful portrait of art in her most social and interactive forms. A French show, with English summaries.
