In this talk, I will detail my path to becoming a math professor, which includes some typical and some not-so typical experiences. The talk will reveal some of the most significant events of my professional journey, starting with my early interests in math, continuing through graduate school and into my early career. I will also discuss my current research, how it has evolved over time and my plans for the future. My goal is that students will take away some constructive lessons about the possibilities of their own professional journeys.
