Learn from a future colleague in a casual setting while enjoying a free lunch. Eat much?! Join Amelia Pape, founder of a mobile grocery to food deserts start-up to hear about her journey. Amelia will describe what it is like being a young entrepreneur inspired by passion and purpose to correct a market failure and social injustice.
Amelia Pape is a Portland, Oregon-based social entrepreneur and intrapreneur. She is the founder of My Street Grocery, a mobile grocer operated by Whole Foods Market with a mission to improve fresh food access and build community by introducing customers to choices, resources, and relationships that celebrate the joy of food. As Whole Foods Market’s first Food Access Coordinator, Pape leads and develops local, regional, and national initiatives that contribute to individual and community health through food. She works closely with the Whole Cities Foundation, Whole Foods Market’s nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to nutritious food.
