Lewis & Clark Office of Multicultural Affairs invites you to another keynote lecture for our Black Heritage Month Celebration. Dr. Allyson Nadia Field will be lecturing on Black Cinema, Filming Uplift and Projecting Possibility!

Dr. Allyson Nadia Field is an assistant professor of Cinema and Media Studies at UCLA. She is also a faculty affiliate of the Moving Image Archive Studies program and the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies. Dr. Allyson Nadia Field’s primary research interest is in race and ethnicity in American film, non-theatrical film production, independent cinema, and Hollywood.
