Directed by visionary filmmaker Spike Lee, watch the film that looks at race relations in America, circa 1989, and is one of the most thought-provoking and groundbreaking films of the last 20 years.


Ralph Ellison’s Three Days Before The Shooting“

Ralph Ellison died leaving four decades’ worth of scribbled notes for an ambitious second novel.  LC’s own John Callahan, Morgan S. Odell Professor of Humanities & Adam Bradley, B.A. ‘96 are the literary detectives that fit the pieces together.  Hear both scholars read from Ellison’s long-rumored second novel, with book signing to follow.
