Giving to the College

Senior Gift

Senior Gift is an opportunity for graduating seniors to give back to the Lewis & Clark community and support the education of current and future students.

You can make your gift to the Annual Fund, Pios for Pios, or any other area on campus like overseas programs, financial aid, sports, or a department.

For every senior that gives, Rocky Campbell ’00 will give $1.00 to the Annual Fund. If this year’s class beat’s last year’s record of 288 seniors, then his match will double!

Interim President David Ellis will also match the first $1,000 seniors raise.

Congratulations, Class of 2017! 283 of you made your senior gift!

There are so many great reasons to make your senior gift.

What is the Annual Fund?

Since tuition covers only about 75% of the cost of education at Lewis & Clark, the college depends partly on the Annual Fund to cover the gap and support L&C’s most critical needs to:

  • Fund Scholarships.
  • Retain and recruit superb faculty.
  • Sustain innovative academic and community enrichment programs.

Why is participation important?

  1. High alumni participation rates attract large grants from outside foundations.
  2. The higher alumni participation is, the higher Lewis & Clark climbs in national rankings - ultimately helping the value of your degree.
