Monthly Giving
Balance your contribution with a monthly, recurring gift. Visit go.lclark.edu/leadership and select “Multiple Payments” under Additional Information.

Gifts of Securities
Gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds may be deducted on your tax statement at fair market value on
the date of transfer to the college, and you avoid any capital gains tax. To start the process, visit go.lclark.edu/GiveSecurities.

Matching Gifts
Does your employer or your spouse’s employer match donations? Matching gifts count towards your membership. Contact your human resources department or visit go.lclark.edu/MatchingGifts.

Foundations and Donor-Advised Funds
Your foundation or donor-advised funds can be directed to Lewis & Clark.

Multiyear Pledges
Help Lewis & Clark save resources by pledging your gift for four years. We will send you a reminder each
year instead of a solicitation. To make a multiyear pledge, call Stephen LeBoutillier, director of Annual Giving, at 503-768-7940 or email sgl@lclark.edu.

Installments
Break up your gift into monthly or quarterly installments. Installments are charged automatically to your
credit/debit card.

Named Annual Scholarship
With a pledge of $20,000, you can set up your own scholarship. You can pay $5,000 each year for four years, or customize a payment schedule. Start the process by contacting Stephen LeBoutillier, director of Annual Giving, at 503-768-7940 or sgl@lclark.edu.
