Professional Biography

Susan Kirschner is a Senior Lecturer in the Humanities at Lewis & Clark College, where she teaches creative non-fiction.  She has written essays on Virginia Woolf, Alice Walker, and pedagogy, and her current project is a memoir about her family’s life in pre-WWII Austria, and their flight on the eve of war.
