The Virtual Center assists the faculty of the College of Arts & Sciences to achieve their goals for excellence in scholarship and teaching. Guided by the Faculty Development Steering Committee and the Director of Faculty Development, the Center coordinates with the Sponsored Research Office to support the growth of faculty scholarship. Through the Center for Scholarship and Teaching, we organize discussions on teaching issues, coordinate peer observation and offer individual consultation. We seek to promote and sustain a community of teachers and scholars who offer mutual support and encouragement.
