Resonance Ensemble
The Bard Sings
Join Resonance Ensemble as we celebrate the rich bounty of music inspired by Shakespeare’s texts, from his sensual sonnets to the songs in his plays. We’ll intersperse dramatic readings with expressive musical settings by Benjamin Britten, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Steven Sametz, and even international composers such as Jaakko Mantyjarvi and Richard Strauss – for composers around the world, Shakespeare’s music is indeed the food of love.
Up to 50 complimentary tickets are available for Lewis & Clark students at the Music Department.
Other members of the Lewis & Clark community can receive a $5 discount on adult tickets at the Resonance Ensemble web site by entering the code SHAKESPEARE.
