Friendly Peer Tutors

Need help on your math or computer science or other math-related assignments?
Need review of certain math-related skills and concepts?
Need a friendly place to study or work in groups for your math class homework?
Need help in brushing up for the Quantitative Reasoning Exam?

MATH SKILLS CENTER - an informal and free resource center for L&C students:

Peer tutors are recommended by the math/computer science professors.

We are dedicated to support and enrich your class work, not to replace your professor. We may not have all the answers (although we do have answer keys), but we can point you in the right direction.

MATH IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT -Tips for visits to the MSC:

Come prepared with your text, notes, and calculators as we have a limited supply. Tutors are expected to guide you, not complete your assignments.  Don’t wait until the night before an exam and realize that our nighttime hours tend to be busier.

BioPsych 005 is located in the lower level of building #11 on the campus map. This math lab is near the blue and yellow Bio labs. It is under the wide, outside stairs between the theatre and the music building. Hard to describe - go find it during the daytime hours.
