Graduate Program Information

A special cooperative arrangement exists between Lewis & Clark College and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), formerly the Monterey Institute of International Studies, an excellent West Coast professionally-oriented interdisciplinary graduate program in international relations.  The agreement allows Lewis and Clark students who have majored in International Affairs to go to MIIS for an accelerated program (48 credits and 3 semesters, instead of 60 credits and 4 semesters) for these master’s programs: International Policy and Development; Public Administration (MPA); and Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies. Students who qualify and take advantage of this program “are guaranteed a $10,000 annual scholarship.”  Bob Mandel has been designated as the advisor to the program.
