Chinese Placement Exam

The Chinese proficiency test is required of all students wishing to place into language classes above first-year (101) Chinese. If you will be taking Chinese 101, you do not need to take the exam.  The test consists of two sections, a written section and an oral section.  Both are relatively informal and are rough guides to placing you in a class.  We wish to put you in the class that will be best suited to your abilities and motivation.  The proficiency test for the upcoming school year will take place on August 30, 2012 at 8 am in Miller Center for the Humanities.  We’ll see you there!
