A Poetry Reading by Lewis & Clark College Alum Nick Lantz

Nick Lantz is a writer living in Madison, Wisconsin. His first book of poetry, We Don’t Know We Don’t Know, won the Breadloaf Writer’s Conference Bakeless Prize and was recently published by Graywolf Press. His second book, The Lightning That Strikes the Neighbors’ House, was selected by former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky for the Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry and will be published by the University of Wisconsin Press in April 2010. He received a BA in Religious Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was the 2007-2008 Jay C. and Ruth Halls Poetry Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. His work has been published in journals such as MARGIE, Mid-American Review, Southern Review, Locuspoint, Gulf Coast, and Prairie Schooner.
