    Each year, Commencement includes brief remarks from a member of the senior class. If you are interested in being considered for Senior Speaker for the Class of 2012, please follow these instructions:

    By Wednesday,  March 14, 5 p.m
    ., submit a copy of your proposed speech to Michael Ford, Associate Vice President for Campus Life, Office of the Provost, Frank Manor House, or mail it to MSC 37.On Monday, March 19, 2012, 7-9 p.m., a student, staff, faculty, and alumni selection committee will hear all speeches in Templeton Campus Center, Council Chamber.

    Senior class members are invited to attend.Speeches are evaluated based on published criteria by a panel of seniors, faculty, and staff convened by Michael Ford, Commencement Coordinator.All seniors competing for this honor are advised in writing of the results of competition once the chosen speaker has been notified by the Dean of the College
