Ordering Your Cap and Gown

There is no fee for your cap and gown. Graduating seniors have already provided height/weight to the Registrar for purposes of cap/gown ordering. Please keep your cap/gown and tassel as a memento of your graduation day.  

By early March, graduating seniors receive a packet of information from Jostens via campus mail. This includes order forms for graduation announcements and other memorabilia, including class rings and diploma frames. If you want to order memorabilia on line, do so at the Jostens web page or by phone, 800-854-7464.

Please verify your cap and gown order when you pick up your four (4) complimentary Commencement tickets at Commencement Countdown,10a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday-Wednesday, March 20-21, Stamm West, Templeton Student Center.

Graduating seniors not on campus during Spring term, or those who cannot verify your cap/gown order at Commencement Countdown, may confirm cap/gown order directly via email to Michael Ford, Commencement Coordinator at mford@lclark.edu. 

Pick up: Wednesday and Thursday,  May 2 & 3, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., or
May 6, 8-9 a.m., Council Chamber, Templeton Student Center.

Remember: The cap and gown belong to you.  Your graduation gown is made from natural wood sourced exclusively from renewable, managed forests.  The fabric is proven to completely decompose in soil within less than a year.  The Eco-Zip coil zipper tabe and teeth are made from 100% recycled PET.  Jostens will donate $1 for each Lewis & Clark gown to an environmental sustainability project.  For further information, consult the Jostens web site above.   Please do not return your cap/gown.
