John D. Albert BS ’73, August 27, 2017, age 66. After graduating from Lewis & Clark, Albert earned a JD at the University of Oregon College of Law and began his legal career in the office of the district attorney for Multnomah County, Oregon. In 1981, Albert joined Churchill Leonard, and in 1991, he helped found Donaldson Albert Tweet Connolly Hanna & Muñiz, in Salem, Oregon. Albert and Tweet worked together until Tweet’s retirement in 2014. In his daily life, Albert loved the outdoors and was a devoted Ducks fan. He also ran marathons and served as a soccer referee. Survivors include his wife, Claudia; his children, Stephen, James, and Jena; and one grandchild.

Douglas L. Jacobson BS ’84, February 26, 2021, age 59. Jacobsen was an athlete and inductee of the Lewis & Clark Sports Hall of Fame. He worked for the majority of his career in credit management. Jacobsen was a fun-loving individual, who planned many trips and adventures with his family. He loved to dance and enjoyed Broadway shows. Survivors include wife Lisa; children Ellie and Bobby; two grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Hal L. Adrian BS ’56, December 31, 2018, age 84. Adrian began his career as a teacher and later worked in human resources at an insurance company, where he became vice president. After retiring in 1994, he worked as assistant athletic director at George Fox University. Survivors include his wife, Audrey; sons Dave, Jay, and Greg; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
