General Education Task Force
Review Timeline

August 2008
Dean of the College convenes the General Education Task Force.

September—November 2008
The Task Force investigates, deliberates, and drafts recommendations.

December 2008
The Task Force prepares and delivers a draft report to the Dean of the College and the Curriculum Committee.

January 2009
The Dean of the College and the Curriculum Committee provide feedback on the draft report to the Task Force.

February 2009
The Task Force finalizes the report and delivers it to the faculty.

March—April 2009
The faculty discusses the report, and amends, approves, or rejects changes recommended by the Task Force.

Academic Year 2009—2010
The Curriculum Committee works with departments and programs to implement changes approved by the faculty.
