Fannie and John Hertz Foundation Fellowship
The Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship awards are based on merit, and consist of 25 tuition paid fellowships, plus $25,000 for graduate study toward a doctoral degree in application of physical sciences. Graduating seniors with a documented record of high scholastic performance, accomplishment in technical research or study, and appropriate moral and ethical values are eligible.

Where are they now?
Tina Tominc Saxowsky is now doing postdoctoral research at Emory University.
Simon Sponberg is now a graduate student at University of California at Berkeley.
